Local Author Katt Rose will be attending to sign her books

On November 9th, 2019 in the University Village Shoppers from 11:00-2:00

Stephanie Morrison has worked for Shoppers Drug Mart for 8 years. This is her 3rd year of organizing the Holiday Gala. Tickets sold in stores for $10.00, half of which will be donated to a charity of choice, all going towards supporting woman. Sorry boys, this is a lady’s event, with cosmeticians, nail experts and skin experts all gathered together volunteering their time to help woman feel good about themselves. We all need a little guidance at times, and what better way than joining in on the fun and learning how to bring out your inner beauty and feel confident in our own skin. There will be products to try, and available for purchase, and lovely gift baskets to enter to win. Stephanie works in the University Village Shoppers and has a wonderful embracing demeanor, always ready with an inviting smile. She immediately makes others feel at ease and has a cheerful attitude. Stephanie has strived to make her stores event as fun and lighthearted to ensure everyone feels at ease and enjoys learning a few tricks of the trade. This year she invited an inspiring author Katt Rose. Tickets are limited and can be purchased ahead of time at any Shoppers Drug Mart location.

Country Roads Publishing announced that their Apple Award Winning Author will be joining Shoppers Drug Mart 510-Fifth Street Nanaimo to help promote the Holiday Beauty Mingle Gala with many volunteers attending to help woman feel beautiful. Katt will be selling and signing her books offered at a sale price. Why is this special? Katt Rose writes books with strong female characters that are uplifting and Katt shares her story of health struggles that she rose above giving hope and strength to those who need a reminder that we are all worthy in this life. Katt will also be inviting everyone to enter her draw for an advanced copy of her forth book, Forget Me Not, before its even released in stores.

Its an honor and pleasure to have Katt Rose join in on the fun with her positive attitude and infectious laughter. This added feature is sure to help promote a safe and friendly atmosphere to encourage all woman to come out and take a ‘me day’. 

Katt Rose was featured in the New York Times and BC Bookworld. She has had a 5-star review by Kirkus Reviews on her book ‘Building it Up’.  Katt Rose was recently picked up by Country Roads Publishing Company and her three books (The Loss, Building it Up, and A fathers Daughter) will be re branded and re launched this year, followed by her forth book, Forget Me Not which will be available in the new year.
